Stand with Syria: Join the Protest for Justice and Dignity

Thousands of atrocities have been committed by the Syrian regime, led by the dictator Bashar al-Assad and supported by Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Yet, the United Nations allows this tyrant to have a seat in its General Assembly.

The Syrian-American community, CESD, and SFP invite you to stand in solidarity with us at a protest on September 22, 2023, in front of the United Nations headquarters from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Your presence with us is a support for the popular movement in the regions of Suwayda and southern Syria. There, protesters have toppled statues of the Assad family, and the people daily demand the removal of Bashar al-Assad from power.

Many Syrians are suffering from hunger and oppression, largely due to the control of Maher al-Assad, Bashar al-Assad’s brother, and Asma al-Assad, Bashar’s wife, over every aspect of the Syrian economy. This family is a stain on humanity and the international community.

Raise your voice and join us in our efforts to achieve justice and dignity for the Syrian people, who have lost over 350,000 lives, endured chemical attacks, and seen many of their sons imprisoned since 2011. Let your voice be heard at the United Nations General Assembly.
